The Zorian Invasion

The Main Idea

How It Started

                  One fateful day, the four guardians, who fought to protect Belleville from attack, came home, all wounded, ca-rrying the most tragic news of all: the Zorians had won the battle and would invade Belleville in a day. 

                  Coca and Pearl agreed it was better to send King Berry, Queen Anna-beth, the Elementals (Guard-ians), and all their children to a secret island where they will prepare their rebellion. 

                  Meanwhile, Lucas and Penelopy, the vice King and Queen of Belleville, stayed to trick the Zorian King into believing they were the official rulers to make the Zorian King satisfied and not search for the previous rulers.  Lila also stayed, being a friendly advisor, and took care to send her Ring of Happiness to the island where all the royal family stayed for the time being.

                  "I am clever, dead-ly, and wonderful!" claims the Zorian King.  He also said, "I am so wonderful because I have transformed this town into a military base.  It is a great honor to live in this new and powerful mili-tary base."  His soldiers even say, "Amazing," "Awesome," "Superb," and "The most gifted man in the universe." 

But we pets know what he is truly like.  He's a greedy and selfish man who wants no more but war and conquering!  Let's show them what we are capable of!

Pets Taken to Jail

                  Just like expected, Lucas and Penelopy were taken to jail.  Some other pets such as Anna Flap were taken hostage.  "It was so fright-ening, I thought my heart would stop beating!" says Anna.  A newborn was also taken away from his mother and put in prison just to make the Zorian King laugh!  It's unbelievable what the Zorian King will do to earn power!

Crimes

Six Injured Pets

                  One of the first things the Zorian King ordered to do was to attack several parts of Belleville.  Unfortunately, the retirement center found itself under attack.  All the old streamed out, but found no escape and were quickly taken to the hospital.  Thankfully, they all survived their injuries, but are still worried of a second attack.

Thiefs

Another terrible crime done by  the Zorians was to steal many items from a variety of pets. 

First, they stole a puffle from Samantha Squeak who was so upset, she com-plained to the Zorians and was sent to jail.  She was released shortly after though.

Next, they took all the food from the hotel leaving the owners and the few guests staying there with-out any food to rely on!  What terrible things the Zo-rians have done!

                  These Zorians just can't seem to be satisfied!  They've even built a mini prison here in Belleville!

                  Their prison inclu-des thick walls of steel and heavily locked door with armed guards patrolling day and night.  It is nearly impos-sible to sneak out of this dangerous building.

Princess Under Attack!

                  The young prin-cess, Poppy, was riding the schoolbus and was attacked by the Zorians.  They tried all they could to hurt her, but without success since Poppy is born with the rare gift of not feeling physical pain.  Poppy could not help laughing at them.  Angry, the guards told her she wouldn't be laughing anymore when her city was in flames.  Let's hope that doesn't happen.

High Taxes

                  To make the village of Belleville an even more miserable place, the Zorians decided to raise the taxes by half the pets' salaries.  This put many of the pets in Belleville in poverty, therefore allowing less business to happen, making some of the pets' lives at stake!  Little hope is left.

Threats

                  The Zorians arrived at the hotel and said, "We will destroy this place.  Get out!" 

Terrified hotel manager Brownie Coca speaks up, "I will not let you take my hotel! We...we could make a deal.  I'll give your soldiers a same place to live and... food!  You'll be quite happy you didn't break down this place." 

The soldiers discus-sed this with the king and thankfully, allowed the hotel to stay up.  Yet, the soldiers refused to pay her the smallest of price even with all the money the Zorians already owned from the taxes.

Concentration Camp

                  The nightmare of all pets these days is to end up in the torturous Concentration Camp newly constructed by the Zorians.  This is their biggest threat of all.  The Zorians have already taken in multiple pets for no reason.  The only be that it makes the King happy.  Inside this monstrous place is a huge underground prison with hardly any light in it.  There is also a crocodile room where you find a ferocious crocodile waiting for its next meal.  A victim explains, "It is the fright of my life and a memory that will follow me forever."

Zorian's To Do

Number 1:

Belleville's colors and archi-tectural designs are too much for the Zorians.  The King is planning to remodel evey building with new colors, and new designs.  All the pets already know how much sadder Pet Land will be without all their joyful colors, or friendly designs...

Number 2:

Once the Zorians remodel the buildings, they plan to build a small space for the pets where they can keep them inprisoned or "under watch," as the Zorians would say.  Just imagine how horrible lif would be for us if we were all squished in one corner!

Number 3:

The final terrible crime these Zorians will try to comit will be to transform Belleville from a pleasant town, to a dreadful military base.  Just imagine that!  Our friendly life becoming a battle between life and death.  We cannot–I repeat: WE CAN-NOT allow the  Zorians to change our lives.  We must fight back!

Our Saviors

                  Before the war, it three children were born.  Yet these children were different.  They were powerful.  Each of them had a power, whether it be invisibility, shape-shifting, or healer. 

                  Pearl knew they would somehow save Belleville, so she sent them out to live on the Unknown Island.  There they grew up, and were ready to claim back Belleville.

                  On a quiet night, they entered Belleville with some of the elementals.  It was time.  The three sisters crept up to the Zorian station and silently, one by one took them out of their beds and put them in their own prison. 

                  One Zorian soldier woke and realized that something was indeed happening.  The shape-shifter took the image of one of the other soldiers and said, "I think something's wrong.  There are strange sounds in the prison."  So the shape-shifter lured the soldier to the prison and locked him in. 

                  Unluckily, the soldier yelled, "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"  All the Zorians woke up at this and started for the three pets.  The shape-shifter turned to air and the other turned invisible.  Only the healer was left, and she was caught.

                  The Zorians stood guard for the rest of the night, but the other two pets would not give up, not yet. 

                  These two pets called for some help from the elementals which arrrived instantly.  The Airbender created a huge tornado which trapped most of the Zorians in. it.  The Earthbender created a huge earthquake which slowed down the Zorians.  After working together, the pets finally got to the King. 

                  The pets and the King discussed.  Yet, the King refused to surrender.  The pets had to threaten him, and finally, the war was over.
