Koob
You can find any
book in Koob. The city's name, Koob, is
actually "book" spelled backwards.
The town's president, Katerina Dream, is a very famous author who won
six book awards!
The
biggest law in Koob is, No
hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia allowed or in other words, No fear of long words allowed.
This
quiet town provides citizens who own giant book homes. Three authors write most
of the day. You can fully relax in this
silent book-loving town.
Award Winning Novel: Witch
Author Penelope
Kitty wrote the book Witch and it is
considered the "most inspiring piece of writing" by Ms. Dream.
The
storyline is about a clan of nomad witches and as the witches continue their
journey, they accidentally leave behind a witch. The forgotten witch tries to catch up, but
can't and finally finds a true place she can call "home."
The
lesson is to find your own path and not to be too influenced by others'
paths. "This is a must read book
for any type of pet," states Ms. Dream.
Will the Readers Look Up From Their Books
for a Circus?
Puggles
accomplishes the difficult task of convincing all the citizens of Koob to put
down their books for a minute and come watch his circus. Four-sevenths of the pets are excited to
come. Yet, one pet brought a book and
said, "This 'better be good." She is so deep into her reading she
would have hated to put her book down.
However, after the show, the whole crowd including that pet screames,
"More, More, MORE!"
Medical Emergency!
Katerina Dream trips off the top of her house and tumbles to the floor many feet
below. Puggles immediately takes action
and calls the bus to come pick them up and transport them to the nearest
hospital, since Koob didn't have one. Puggles, Katerina, and three citizens hop
into the bus to accompany Katernina to the hospital.
During
the bus ride, two of the three locals flail out of the bus as it veers at the
sharp corners of the road. Now two more
pets need medical assistance.
Once
the pets arrive at the hospital, the doctors quickly heal the pets. Thankfully no serious damage was done to any
of them.
Back
in the city, Puggles is awarded two books and three dollars for his loyalty to
Katerina and all of his help to try and heal her (as well as the other two pets
that fell off the bus).
Visitors Buy 15 Books!
A group of three
visitors arrive in Koob and head straight for the book store. By the end of their visit, these pets bought
fifteen books! That's thirty dollars
spent on books only!
One
of the pets claims, "We love the books these creative Koob authors put
together." Another one said,
"We hope to one day be as skilled as they are." This just proves at what point books are
important to pets in and out of Koob!
More and More Books!
It's nighttime
in Koob and Katerina successfully states that seven books were published that
day in Koob!
The
three authors each published two books except for one who published three that
day. The book themes spread from
award-winning novels to joke books.
