The Marvelous Powers of the Elementals

The Elementals have been the source of protection of Pet Land for as long as anyone can remember.  Today, they live in the palace with the King and Queen themselves.  Yet, where did their legacy originate?

Their children sit right below them.  Queen Pearl is sitting in the pink throne to the right.

The roots of the Elementals lie way back shortly after the foundations of Pet Land were set by the first King and Queen, Coca and Pearl.  The kingdom was struggling for existence and constantly trying to ward off any attacking neighboring nations, especially the Zorians.  Anyway, the King and Queen knew their land would not last long if they did not have warriors to protect them.  So that day, the queen left the palace disguised as a beggar and found the four kindest and most generous pets in the land: Shanon (a fish), Skippy (a squirrel), Joy (a bird), and Lily (a butterfly).

Queen Pearl brought them all back to the palace and with her powers, gave each one of them the power to manipulate one element.  Shanon could control water, Skippy earth, Joy fire, and Lily air.  All four pets were greatly honored and headed straight to the borders of the land to ward off invaders.  Almost instantly, all of the invaders gave up trying to overtake Pet Land and since then, Pet Land has experienced a time of great peace.

Here is the home of the Water elementals: Oola, child of Shanon I, and her daughter Shanon II.  They managed to install a pond in their home as well as a fountain and a bathtub in the back.  Shanon II lies in a sea bed and is happier than ever surrounded by water.  They both visit the sea often and sometimes see mermaids, the creatures that are able to create the prophecies of the land.  Shanon and Oola are often sent to the mermaids to gather prophecies for their king and queen.





This is the home of the Earth Elementals.  Here is Skippy II, daughter of Kallie (a kangaroo who is currently away), daughter of Skippy I.  To the left of Skippy is a brown nutshell with bright green boxing gloves belonging to Kallie.  In the back of the home, you can find many plants that help connect Skippy II and her mother to the earth.  Skippy's favorite thing to do is to jump from tree to tree and camp in the branches of these trees.

Here is the sort of chaotic home of the Fire Elementals, chaotic like their element.  As you can probably tell, their favorite color is pink.  Joy II (right), daughter of Bella (left), daughter of Joy I sit in a very cozy little nest.  The two are often referred to as "firebirds."  Everyday, they fly around in the bright sun and make sure the sun never goes out.

These are the Air Elementals their home.  They both wish that their home may be higher up in the sky, but they always have to come back down to earth and not let their dreams take them too far.  Felicity on the left is the daughter of Lily, the first Air Elemental, and her daughter, Anna, sits besides her.  At the very front of their home is a pink camera which they take with them everywhere to take pictures of the view up high.

The Tail of Scotty and Amber

Scotty and Amber

Scotty and Amber were best friends in the whole world.  They did everything together, from playing to going on adventures.  Yet, this adventure proved to be quite different from the rest…

One day, while walking together, Amber spotted something shiny beyond the trees.  She said, "Look Scotty!  Do you see that glow?  It might be the glow of the crown of Queen Rosalina!"

Queen Rosalina used to rule this land with much grace and kindness.  All of the pets loved her.  Yet, she was kidnapped and never seen again since that tragic day many years ago.  The pets have searched everywhere, behind every tree and under every rock but each time without success.  However, each pet still hopes to find the lost queen and become a hero.

Scotty, not believing that the faint glow in between the distant trees could be the queen shrugged and said, "Amber, I think it's just the morning dew in the grass."  But Amber was already on her way to the light.

When Scotty finally caught up with her, Amber was staring at a pond.  "I thought it would be the queen," said Amber about to cry.  Indeed the pond had a queer way of glimmering.  Scotty patted Amber on the back and said, "Don't worry, Amber.  We'll find the queen one day.  How about we go swim in the pond?"  

At those words, Amber hopped with joy.  If there was anything she loved to do it was swimming.  Before Scotty could even say, "Wait for me!" Amber was already in the water.  Then a strange thing happened.  When Amber jumped in, it was as if the pond pulled her to the bottom until Scotty could no longer see her from the surface.  

Scotty was then afraid.  What could he do?  He might never see Amber again, but he had no clue in how to save her.  He decided that his best hope was in jumping in too.  

Scotty was sucked into the pond and seemed to go through a dark tunnel and appeared out of nowhere on the shore of a beach.  To his delight, Amber was also there.  All of the sudden, a pink bubble grew around Amber and she couldn't get out no matter how hard she tried.  Then Scotty saw something he didn't notice before, a pirate ship!  Out of the ship came a frightening fish with an eye-patch.  Scotty quickly hid behind a rock.  

The pirate was walking straight towards Amber in her bubble!  Then the pirate spoke, "Stop trying to pop this bubble because it will never let you our without my permission!"  Amber was shaking so hard in fear so she stopped trying to get out.  Then the pirate said, "Magic bubble, go in my ship!"  The bubble lifted off the ground and flew all the way to the pirate's ship.  The pirate then headed for his boat and Scotty watched as the ship sailed away.  Not wanting to leave Amber forever, Scotty decided to try to swim to the ship.  He jumped in the water and started swimming as fast as he could.  

When he finally reached the ship, it had stopped and the anchor was down.  Scotty climbed up the anchor and arrived inside the boat.  Scotty tip-toed quietly from room to room in the big ship to make sure that he wouldn't get caught.  He looked in the first room–nothing.  The same was for all the next until he came the the twelfth room.  Inside he found Queen Rosalina in a white cage.  This was where she had been since she disappeared!  The queen too seemed surprised to see another pet in the boat other than herself.  

Scotty said to the queen, "Hello your majesty.  My name is Scotty and I came here with my friend Amber and…"  The queen cut him off and said, "Hide, Scotty!  I think I hear the pirate coming!  If he sees you, there will be no hope of escape for you!"  Scotty dove into an empty barrel in the corner of the room and indeed, he heard the steps of the pirate.  

Then he heard the door creak open and heard the pirate say, "Yo ho, Rosalina, for I have found one who agrees to marry me!"  "No one would ever want to marry you!" answered Rosalina.  "Well, I told her that if she did not marry me, then I would imprison her just like you!" shouted the pirate.  And with that, he shut the door with a slam.

Scotty jumped out of the barrel and said to Rosalina, "I think he plans to marry Amber, my best friend!  I can't let him do that!"  Rosalina answered, "I don't know of any way to stop him.  As you can see, I have been resisting him for many years and I am still locked in here."

Scotty said, "I will find a way to save Amber."  He quietly left the room and on the main deck, he saw two chairs and Amber was in one of them!  Yet, the pirate was in the other.  Amber was already dressed in a beautiful white wedding gown with a pink crown.  However, her face was wet with tears.  The pirate said, "Finally, time to be married!  But first, show me the wedding presents!"  That was the answer!  Scotty now knew how to save Amber!  Scotty found an empty present box and jumped inside.  "The pirate will never suspect anything," thought Scotty.

The pirate's servants finally grabbed Scotty's box and Scotty could hear the pirate laughing and Amber crying.  The pirate said, "Yo ho! This is a really big present!  I wonder what's inside…"  

As soon as the pirate opened the box, Scotty jumped out and let out his most ferocious bark.  The pirate was so surprised and taken by fear that he jumped right out of his eyepatch and his throne and jumped so high that he fell overboard into the sea.  Amber jumped into Scotty's arms and said, "Thank you so much, Scotty!  You saved me!"  Scotty blushed and was happy that his friend was safe.  Then Scotty remembered something.  He said, "You won't believe what else I've found on this ship!"  Amber looked puzzled.  Scotty ran back inside the ship and when he came back out, Queen Rosalina was following him.  

"Oh, my!" said Amber.  She quickly bowed low to the queen.  Yet Queen Rosalina said, "You don't need to bow, my dear Amber."  Amber quickly got back up.  Rosalina looked at Scotty and continued, "Scotty, you have saved me from this terrible place.  I think that you are much more fit to rule this land than I am.  I give you the name of Prince Scotty and from now on, you may live in the palace and rule over all of Pet Land."  Scotty was super happy at first, but then he thought that if he was the prince, he would be separated from Amber once again.  He said, "Thank you for your offer, your majesty, but I can't leave my friend Amber."  The queen smiled and said, "Well, in that case, I will name your friend, Princess Amber!"  Amber and Scotty were overjoyed.

All three headed back to the shore and found a very familiar pond.  They all jumped in and reappeared back in the forest where our story began.  From that day on, Prince Scotty and Princess Amber lived happily ever after in the palace of Pet Land.

The Bunny White-Out Movie!

The Dark Pup wants to take over Bunnyville!  The only way to save Bunnyville is to fetch the remedy, which the Dark Pup owns.  Polly the bunny is chosen to get this remedy.  Can she save Bunnyville?

Annie Saves the Day!

Annie is about to board the plane.  She finds all of her friends inside. She sees Sapphire the brown dog, Scotty the gray dog, and Tallulla the brown monkey.  Annie takes a seat next to the window.  She can't wait to take off.

All of the sudden, she feels the plane start to shake.  She peeks outside her window and sees they are finally starting to move!  The ground is getting farther away as the plane rises to the sky, above the fluffy clouds.  They are going so fast!  Annie sees all of Pet Land zoom underneath her.

"Are you excited to go to Belleville?" asked Tallulla.

"Yes!  I can't wait!  I have a few friends there and some family too!  They all tell me what a wonderful place Belleville is and I really should come to visit!" said Annie.

Sapphire turned around in her seat, "I'm moving into Belleville.  My twin sisters live there.  Their favorite part of Belleville is the String Shop where they buy all sorts of accessories and clothes."

"It has to be great there," said Annie in awe.  "I can't wait until we land."

"You have a lot of time before we land!  About 5 hours," said Scotty.

"How are we going to wait this long?" asked Annie.

"Easy, just watch the movie!" answered Tallulla.

Annie watched the movie and was so tired the fell asleep.

She woke up to the pilot's announcement, "Pets, something has gone wrong with the airplane.  We will have to land soon to repair–"

The plane jolted and came crashing down to an island in the middle of nowhere in the dark of night.

All the pets emptied out of the airplane.  The pilot came out and said, "The airplane has run out of fuel.  I called a pet from the nearest fuel place and they said they would come in three days.  We need to find some food to eat."

"But we're on a deserted island!  How do you expect we find anything here?" asked Sapphire.

All the pets looked around them at the menacing forest surrounding them like a pack of sharks.

Annie looked up and found something bright orange in a tree.  Then she found another, and another!  What  could it be?

"I'll be right back," said Annie to the other pets.

Annie climbed up the tree with great difficulty, but finally made it up.  She steadily walked onto a branch and arrived to the orange thing.

Once Annie got near it, she noticed something strange about it. It smelled like a tangerine!  Wow!  She had just found food!  With her little teeth, Annie bit the tangerine's stem and down it went.  Annie used a leaf as a parachute to get down safely.

When Annie arrived back at the airplane with all the other pets, the pilot was on the phone with a look of despair.

"Okay," said the pilot reluctantly, and she hung up.  The pilot took a deep breath and said to the pets, "The fuel place doesn't have any fuel left.  It'll take a month before they stock up again."

"Oh no!" cried all the pets.

"Wait," started Annie, "I found a tangerine tree!  We have food!"

The pilot looked up and smiled, "Do you know what's on the tangerine's skin?  Fuel!"

All the pets cheered.  The next day, the pets had gathered enough fuel to start the plane again.  When they arrived in Belleville, before leaving the plane, each pet said, "Thank you, Annie for saving the day!"

The All New Mailing System

Andrea Home has decided to update Belleville's mailing system and forming her own post office.  Along with it, she formed a pen pal group.  After a long journey to find these pen pals, Andrea has come back with multiple pen pals from the land of CPS (cardboard pet shop) and fairies.
